Tara Crane, AuD

Owner and audiologist

Dr. Tara Crane earned her Doctor of Audiology from Salus University in Elkins Park, Pennsylvania, in 2008, after a master’s degree in audiology from West Virginia University in 1996. She has practiced audiology in ENT, private practice and hospital settings and has worked with all the major hearing aid manufacturers.

She runs a service-oriented practice that discusses hearing aid options in detail and chooses technology based on each patient’s lifestyle and budget.

HOW IT BEGAN

The practice’s story

Mountaineer Audiology was established in 2014 by a pair of audiologists to serve the local community, so patients would no longer need to travel long distances for hearing care. Its second office is in Winchester, Virginia.
