Shilpa Paradkar Singh, MD

Founder and internist

Dr. Shilpa Paradkar Singh is board-certified in internal medicine and trained at Mount Sinai. Before founding Atrium Medical she was medical director at Yaffe, Ruden & Associates on the Upper East Side, and she holds clinical adjunct faculty appointments at NYU Langone Health and Lenox Hill Hospital.

Her clinical interests include preventive medicine, cardiovascular and metabolic risk, women’s health, medical weight management and complex primary care. She also leads the practice’s concierge program.

HOW IT BEGAN

The practice’s story

Dr. Singh founded Atrium Medical in 2018 as an independent practice that isn’t owned by a hospital system or a national chain. Each patient has one clinical team and one ongoing medical record, and the practice coordinates care with specialists across New York City while staying the patient’s home base for primary care.

Visits take place at the office on East 56th Street and by telehealth, and the practice also runs a limited-panel concierge program. Atrium Medical is not affiliated with Atrium Health.
